A melting self portrait, made of ice, is a metaphor of an individual in a society in which every effort is useless.

The black cloths with white writings on them are associated with Iranian funerals. So are the white flowers. However, there is also a sense of hopefulness and a reference to the role of the artist; because the melting head portrait irrigates the flowers during the time of the exhibition.
